Renewable and Non Renewable Source of Energy

Renewable And Non Renewable Sources Of Energy: :

Based on they long term availabilty energy source energy   can be divided in to two :

1. Renewable energy: These are those sources of energy which can be renewed naturally over time. These are inexhaustable. For eg:

  •    Wind energy: The enrgy produced with the help of wind. We use windmill to generate enrergy.
  •   Solar energy: This energy is produced using sun light energy. With the help of solar cells we can entrap the light energy can convert into different form of energies.
  • Geothermal energy: The energy present in the depth of earth is called geothermal energy.
  • Hydral energy: We use water to generate electricity. As it get renewed through water cycle it is called as renewable source of energy.
  • 2. Non renewable energy: These are those sources of energy which are available in limited quantity. These sources cannot be renewed in short duration. For eg:

  • Fossil fuel:coal, petroleum, natural gas, nuclear power etc.
  • Nuclear enregy: This energy is produced using uranium, whioch is limited in supply so it is non-renewable.
